Calgary, Alberta, Canada

August 2-6, 2027

Welcome to AIP 2027

For the first time in 20 years, the flagship Applied Inverse Problems (AIP) Conference returns to Canada, marking its first gathering in North America since 2011. The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Calgary.

As the premier international forum in the field, AIP brings together the global vanguard of mathematicians, computer scientists, data scientists, and industry leaders who build the computational foundation for modern imaging, diagnostics, and data-driven technologies.

Established in Montecatini, Italy in 2001, the biennial AIP conference series has grown into the world's largest gathering in inverse problems, previously hosted across major academic capitals including Daejeon, Helsinki, Hangzhou, Grenoble, Göttingen, and Rio de Janeiro.
